music server setup with scrobbling goodness
I recently got myself a nice file server. One of its intended purposes is playing my music through my modest audio setup. I used to do something like
screen -S muzik mpg123 -C /data/muziek/Super\ Artist/Super\ Album/*mp3
to play Super Album by Super Artist. Drawbacks:
mpg123 doesn’t do iTunes-encoded m4a AAC files
No scrobbling to last.fm
No searching by title, genre, artist -...
